PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode and manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a hole transport layer using a hole transport material in the lower part of a light emitting layer, thereby preventing exciton spreading from a light emitting layer. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(120) is formed on a substrate. A hole injection layer(130) and a hole transport layer(140) are formed on the first electrode. A light emitting layer(150) and an electron transport layer(160) are formed on the hole transport layer. The electron transport layer comprises a first monolayer(161), a first mixed layer(163), a second monolayer(165), and a second mixed layer(167). An electron injection layer(180) and a second electrode(190) are formed on the electron transport layer.
