PURPOSE: An audio video navigation system for vehicles and a multimedia data transmission method thereof are provided to enable the efficient transmission of audio and video data of large capacity by a multimedia network having wide band width and long transmission range. CONSTITUTION: An audio video navigation system for vehicles comprises one or more output units(110), one or more input units(120), and a multimedia network(130). The multiple output units output audio and video data. The multiple input units receive message audio and video data. The multimedia network transmits audio and video data outputted from each output unit to each input unit. The multimedia network transmits audio and video data through multi-channels in real time.
