PURPOSE: A method and device for providing name card information are provided to easily store the name card information to a computer without inputting a card content one by one by receiving name card information directly through a URL. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(510) communicates with a user terminal through a communication network. A storing unit(530) stores name card information having different URL(Uniform Resource Locator). A control unit(550) extracts name card information corresponding to the name card identification information from the storing unit. The name identification information is includes in the connection information of the connected user terminal. A card name information which is transmitted to the user terminal through the communication unit is automatically registered in an address book of an application program driven in the user terminal.
