When ½dn1 is an Abbe number of a material of the negative lens with respect to the d-line and ¸gFn1 is a partial dispersion ratio of the material of the negative lens with respect to the g-line and the F-line, the following conditions are satisfied: 10 < ½dn �¢ 1 < 23 0.020 < ¸gFn �¢ 1 - 0.6438 + 0.001682 * ½dn �¢ 1 < 0.100.
