<p>The rail (10) has a set of panels e.g. glass panes (16), arranged between a set of posts (14) and held by the posts. The posts exhibit a tubular cross section, and a longitudinal slot is provided in walls of the posts in such a manner that a boundary region of the panels is moved by the longitudinal slot and is placed in an interior of the posts. A positioning mechanism is provided for fixing a position of the boundary region in the interior of the posts. A rod-shaped carrying element is provided in the interior of the posts.</p> |
