PURPOSE: A hand dryer is provided to use an ultraviolet ray LED as a sterilization unit and to prevent user's eyes from being exposed to the ultraviolet ray. CONSTITUTION: A hand dryer comprises: a motor fan(20) generating wind drying the hand; an ultraviolet ray LED(30) which is mounted in the surface and generates ultraviolet ray; a protective cover(40) which protects the hand drier from water drop falling from the wet hand, is made of transparent PMMA material, and forms a hand insertion space; a heater installed between the motor fan and protective cover; and a cover protecting parts.
