FIELD: packing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: design of closure for jars and pots comprises a tubular body of a metal sheet with a side wall, having the upper edge, which defines a seat to place and hold a lid made of plastic material and removed manually. The side wall upper edge comprises a peripheral circular flange, protruding radially outside from the tubular body, which is combined with the latter inside and has a continuous rib on the free outer edge that protrudes upwards from the peripheral circular flange, and which represents a circuit in cross section, comprising two opposite round arc parts with centres of curvatures arranged in one and the same plane, orthogonal axis of the tubular body. At the bottom of the lid there is a continuous circular groove arranged, which comprises the upper circular part of the wall, the inner part of the wall and the outer part of the wall, to place, by means of elastic deformation, at least one of parts of the continuous rib and lid onto according round arc parts of the continuous rib above and under the plane in order to fix the cover in axial direction on the tubular body. The specified device additionally comprises a circular flange arranged on one of parts of peripheral circular flange and lid, which is pressed with the other above-specified part when the lid is closed. ^ EFFECT: invention is aimed at development of the closure design for metal jars, which are inside exposed to positive or negative pressure, which makes it possible to simultaneously achieve, through simple design, relatively low cost, a high extent of tightness in the jar closure, easy opening and repeated closure of the lid by means of simple operations, which do not require an additional facility or tools, and reliable holding of the closed lid in the axial direction. ^ 12 cl, 6 dwg |
