ELECTRODE WELDING EQUIPMENT FOR MEDIUM AND LARGE SIZE SECONDARY CELL

PURPOSE: An electrode welding apparatus is provided to avoid welding defects by maintaining close arrangement of an electrode lead and an electrode terminal during welding and to prevent the heat from being transferred inside a battery cell. CONSTITUTION: An electrode welding apparatus comprises: a worktable(1) of a constant height; a bed(2) in which a battery cell is mounted; a welding bar(3) which is in a block shape of a regular length, is attached to the side of the bed and has an insulation groove(32); a lifting unit(4) which is installed at the upper side of the worktable and enables vertical movement; and a head(5) which is combined with the upper end of the lifting unit and includes a press plate(52) and a welding head irradiating plasma, wherein the welding head is positioned between two press plates.
