摘要 A catalyst for polymerizing propylene containing Ti, Al and Sb in the atomic ratio 1: 0.05-0.5: 0.001-0.1 is prepared by treating TiCl3 in an inert reaction medium at a temperature up to 150 DEG C. with a compound R3SbX2 where R is C1- 5 alkyl and X is halogen, the mol ratio of R3SbX2 to TiCl3 being 0.001-0.1: 1, separating off the solid reaction product and reacting it at 30-100 DEG C. with AlR13 where R1 is C1- 7 alkyl, the mol ratio of AlR13 to the original TiCl3 being 1-6: 1, separating off the solids at room temperature and washing them with a hot aromatic hydrocarbon to remove any residual organoaluminium compounds. Polymerization of propylene may be effected using 0.01-2% by wt. of catalyst at 15-120 DEG C. and a pressure of 1-20 atm.ALSO:A catalyst for polymerizing propylene containing Ti, Al, and p Sb in the atomic ratio 1:0.05-0.5:0.001-0.1 is prepared by treating TiCl3 in an inert reaction medium at a temperature up to 150 DEG C. with a compound R3 Sb X2 where R is C1-5 alkyl and X is halogen, the mol ratio of R3 Sb X2 to Ti Cl3 being 0.001-0.1:1, separating off the solid reaction product and reacting it at 30 DEG -100 DEG C with AlR/sv3 where R/sv is C1-7 alkyl, the mol ratio of AlR/sv3 to the original Ti Cl3 being 1-6:1, separating off the solids at room temperature and washing them with a hot aromatic hydrocarbon to remove any residual organoaluminium compounds.
