PURPOSE: A horizontal type anaerobic digestion apparatus for generating bio-gas is provided to discharge precipitated sludge or contaminants to the outside by forming a discharging guide on the lower side of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal type anaerobic digestion apparatus includes an anaerobic digestion bath(110) with a space part(111). The upper cross section shape of the bath is rectangular shape, and the lower cross section shape of the bath is a semi-circular shape. In the space part, an anaerobic digestion process with respect to organic waste is implemented. A discharging guide(120) is in connection with the space part in order to discharge sludge or contaminants. A mixing shaft(130) is fixed to the center part of the longitudinal direction of the bath. A desulfurizing carrier(140) is installed in the bath in order to grow desulfurizing microorganism.
