<p>PURPOSE: A method and a system for preparing copper chloride(I) from waste copper liquid are provided to reduce waste water treatment cost by collecting most of copper from waste copper liquid. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing copper chloride(I) from waste copper liquid comprises the steps of: making waste copper liquid react with hydrochloric acid and a reducing agent, filtering the reaction solution and removing filtered insoluble material, concentrating filtering liquid, cooling the concentrated liquid, dehydrating the cooled material, washing the dehydrated material, and drying the washed material to obtain copper chloride(I), wherein the reducing agent is selected from the group comprising copper, iron, zinc and hydrazine.</p> |
