The oxygenating additive composition for inner combustion engines of the present invention is useful for substantially reducing polluting emissions as well as the amount of suspended particles and therefore the smoke density. The use of fuel is also reduced as the gasoline combustion efficiency is maximized in all types of inner combustion engines. The maintenance costs are reduced in engines, since the invention may dissolve gums, varnishes and water contained in the fuels, thereby maintaining the filters, piping and valves clean for a longer period of time. In addition, the invention improves the power upon modifying the distribution of the molecular weight and the particle size in fuels, thus obtaining a monodisperse mixture which enhances the combustion. It is probable that the oxygenating additive for gasoline may create the first ecological gasoline at a worldwide level.
