The invention relates to a method and a system or determining a plurality of load components (Fi) on a wheel, comprising the steps of providing on the wheel a plurality of sensors (gj) with which it is possible to detect strains or stresses, and measuring essentially simultaneously sensor values (&egr;j) of at least some of the sensors (gj). The invention is characterised in that the number of sensors (gj), sensor values (&egr;j) of which are measured essentially simultaneously, is at least three, and in that the method comprises the step of determining a plurality of load components (Fi) at least partly based on the measured sensor values (&egr;j).
