<p>The invention relates to a method for removing CO2 from exhaust gases of plants for producing raw iron, wherein the CO2 is removed by means of chemical absorption (14), wherein the heat for regenerating the absorption agent is at least partially provided - either by low-pressure steam (19) used from a steam turbine (30, 34) of a steam power plant (24, 32) and/or a steam turbine for utilizing the waste heat from the raw iron production, - and/or by low-pressure steam from a waste heat boiler of a steam power plant and/or from a waste heat boiler for utilizing the waste heat from the raw iron production. The CO2 can thereby be separated from other gases from the exhaust gases of the raw iron production to a greater degree than for pressure swing adsorption, and a lower-quality energy carrier can nevertheless be used therefor.</p> |
