PURPOSE: A display calibration apparatus for enhancing image quality by categorizing an image and recognizing the information of a human skin is provided to improve image quality recognized by a user by adopting different emotions to every image category and reproducing a preferable human skin color. CONSTITUTION: A category discrimination unit(100) classifies an image category, and a skin recognition unit(200) recognizes a human skin color in an image. A screen adjustment unit(300) adjusts a screen according to the skin information of the person recognized in the skin recognition unit. In addition, the screen adjustment unit adjusts a screen by using a screen adjustment variable which varies according to the skin information of the recognized person and the classified category.
