SECONDARY BATTERY IN POUCH TYPE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a pouch type secondary battery is provided to solve problems on short circuit, insulation resistance break down, moisture penetration and the lowering of sealing strength caused by adhesion sealing of electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a pouch type secondary battery comprises the steps of: performing provisional sealing by putting a battery assembly and electrolyte within a first pouch; activating a battery by performing a rechargeable cycle for the sealed battery; de-gassing the gas created by charging/discharging by opening the first pouch; re-sealing the first pouch; and final sealing a battery packaged with the first pouch in a second pouch.
