PURPOSE: A ship is provided to reduce the required thrust of a hydrofoil because the wings of the hydrofoil are installed behind a bulbous bow to reduce the resistance against the water. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a bulbous bow(3) which is installed in a bow part(2). The wings of a hydrofoil are installed behind the bulbous bow to control the complexity of water flow according to the advance of the ship, thereby reducing resistances. In addition, the contact area of the ship to the water is reduced because of floating forces by the hydrofoil wings.
