PURPOSE: A ventilation apparatus for a building is provided to improve antibacterial and deodorization functions by forming a heat exchanging unit using a charcoal plate. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation apparatus for a building comprises a casing(110), an air circulation unit(120), and a heat exchanging unit(130). The casing is installed by passing through the inner and outer sides of a building and has an inner space with an air inlet(112) and an air outlet(114). The air circulation unit has a suction fan(122) and an exhaust fan(124). The suction fan and the exhaust fan circulate indoor and outdoor air. The heat exchanging unit is composed of a frame, charcoal plates for dehumidification and heat exchange, and a fixing plate. The charcoal plates are inserted into slots formed in both walls of the frame. The fixing plate covers a part of one surface of the charcoal plates.
