PURPOSE: An adhesive composition for a polarizing plate is provided to suppress cunic caused by local unevenness at the interface of a transparent protective film and the polarizing plate while maintaining an adhesive property and hot water resistance. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive composition for a polarizing plate comprises 1-8 parts by weight of a polyvinylalcohol resin based on 100.0 parts by weight of a solvent containing water and alcohol in a weight ratio of 99:1-50:50, and 5-70 parts by weight of a cross-linking agent based on 100.0 parts by weight of the polyvinylalcohol resin. The alcohol is C1-4 alcohol.
