<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus improving a security function in the image forming apparatus having a banner page creating function. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a receiving function for receiving print data; a banner page generating function for generating a banner page for displaying information on the print data, and conditions when forming the image in response to reception of the print data; an image generating function for generating image data based on the print data; an image forming function for forming the generated banner page and image data on a medium; and a security setting storage function for storing security setting related to the banner page.
