<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for allowing a user to readily recognize that the operation is performed without fail and which part of a finger, etc., is located in a detection space, even in a non-contact operation device. <P>SOLUTION: In the operation device for accepting the operation of an electronic apparatus by the body, such as a finger, for the operation device includes a body detection unit setting a detection space into which the body can be entered freely and detecting the presence or absence of the body resting in the detection space; an operation signal generation unit generating an operation signal for deciding the operation of the apparatus, according to the result of the detection by the detection unit; and a light irradiation unit irradiating a visible light toward the detection space, when the existence of the body in the detection space is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
