<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbonaceous material mainly composed of double wall carbon nanotubes, especially the carbonaceous material mainly rich in the double wall carbon nanotubes formed in film. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the carbonaceous material mainly composed of the double wall carbon nanotubes, carbon is vaporized from at least one of electrodes by generating arc discharge between a pair of the electrodes arranged in a pressure reducible vessel. It is characterized by that a vaporized material from at least one of a pair of the electrodes is recovered in a temperature region which is an outside region close to the generating region of the arc discharge and in which temperature is not lower than 900 K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
