<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire, in a short time, the focusing position of an imaging means in which the focusing position cannot have been acquired, even when the focusing position cannot be acquired only in a part of imaging means due to an individual difference between the imaging means. <P>SOLUTION: In response to the half-depression of a release button, an AF search on a telephoto side from an MOD is performed for each of right and left imaging systems (step S11). When a focusing position is detected by any of the right and left imaging systems (step S12: NO), it means that the focusing position is not detected by any of right and left imaging systems due to a searching range variation caused by a temperature, therefore, a distance (d) to move a focus lens in order to detect the focusing position of the imaging system, in which the focusing position has not be detected, is calculated based on the focusing curve of the right imaging system 12 and the focusing curve of the left imaging system 13 (step S14). Regarding the focus lens of the imaging system in which the focusing position has not be detected, an additional search is performed in a range between a position on the closest side from the MOD only by the amount of ((the distance (d))+(a fixed value)) and the MOD (step S15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
