<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an LED lamp having a wide viewing angle visible from a forward direction and also from side and backward directions and having high luminous intensity. <P>SOLUTION: In the LED lamp 10, an LED chip 28 for radiating light having a wavelength for exciting a phosphor is surrounded by a substantially ring-shaped frame 22, a dome-shaped translucent hollow enclosure 32 for covering the LED chip 28 is disposed on the frame 22, and a phosphor layer 34 for converting emission of the LED chip 28 to visible light having a prescribed wavelength for radiation is formed in the entire region of an inner surface of the hollow enclosure 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
