COLOR FILTER FOR MANIPULATING COLOR IN DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for manipulating a color in a display. SOLUTION: This embodiment includes a method and a device for controlling a spectral profile and the color gamut of light generated by an interferometric display. Such a device includes a process for illuminating a display with selected wavelengths of light. The embodiment also includes a display comprising separate sections that output different predetermined colors of light. The other embodiment includes a method of manufacturing the device.
