PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation device, a remote operation device system, a remote operation method and a program, wherein a desired icon can easily be operated on a touch panel display. SOLUTION: The remote operation device includes: a display panel 101a for displaying a predetermined operation screen P; a detection unit 101b for detecting operation input to the display panel; a remote operation unit 103 for remotely operating an electronic device 10 in accordance with the operation input; a state information-obtaining unit 103 for obtaining status information that indicates a state of the electronic device from the electronic device; and a display control unit 103 for displaying, on the display panel, an operation screen corresponding to the status information in accordance with a change in the state of the electronic device.
