PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an optical instrument that is excellent in assemblability and disassemblability even while having a lens holding member and an actuator that includes a magnetic circuit. SOLUTION: The optical instrument includes: the lens holding member 22 holding a lens L3 and movable in the direction of an optical axis relative to a base member 10; and the actuator configured from a coil 24 held by the lens holding member and a magnet 29 and yoke 28 held by the base member, and moving the lens holding member in the direction of the optical axis by supplying power to the coil. The yoke has a shape forming an accommodation space 28e for accommodating the magnet in the inside thereof, has openings 28h at both ends of the accommodation space in the direction of the optical axis in order to insert the coil into the accommodation space, and also has a slit part 28b extending, between the openings at both ends, and allowing the insertion of the coil holding part 22a of the lens holding member.
