PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform management or transfer of information efficiently as a whole, when handling information on a battery by connecting the battery to another apparatus. SOLUTION: A battery information storage device 2 including a storage part connected to a battery 1 terminal, for storing information on the battery 1, also includes a battery side communication part for communicating with a communication object apparatus in the superimposed state of a signal including communication information, on wiring from the communication object apparatus connected to the battery terminal, and has a constitution wherein information stored in the storage part or information for storing in the storage part is transferred with the communication object apparatus. A battery diagnosis device 3, a battery charging device 4, or a battery information display device 5 gives and receives the information on the battery 1 stored in the battery information storage device 2 via the battery side communication part.
