PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and useful table which is suitably applicable to a relatively simple table or the like and achieves non-conventional handleability by appropriately attaching a modesty panel to the table. SOLUTION: A bearing device 3 which is a modesty panel-supporting device is attached under a top plate 2. The bearing device 3 is made to support the modesty panel 4 such that a position can be changed between a using position P at which it is suspended downward from the vicinity of the edge part 2a of the top plate 2 and a storage position Q at which it is roughly overlapped with the lower surface 2b of the top plate 2, and the form of utilization as a meeting table or the like and the form of utilization as a work desk for one person or the like can be selected.
