摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst composition for preparing amide, which decreases the viscosity of an ionic liquid and increases the conversion ratio of ketoxime and the selectivity of amide and to provide a method for preparing amide. SOLUTION: The catalyst composition for preparing amide contains: an amino acid ionic liquid, which includes a cation shown by formula (I) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>is hydrogen, cycloamino or 1-8C alkyl which may be unsubstituted or have a substituent selected from hydroxyl (-OH), carboxyl (-COOH), guanidino (NH<SB>2</SB>C(=NH)NH-), amino (-NH<SB>2</SB>), amido (-CONH<SB>2</SB>), ester (-COOR, wherein R is a 1-8C alkyl), sulfonate (-SO<SB>3</SB>-), chlorosulfinyl (ClSO-), hydroxyphenyl, 1-8C alkylthio, mercapto (-SH), 6-10C aryl or 5- to 10-membered heteroaryl; R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>are each hydrogen or 1-8C alkyl, which may be unsubstituted or have a substituent such as hydroxyl (-OH), independently) and an anion selected from the group comprising one or a plurality of inorganic acid groups, organic acid groups and a combination thereof; and a Bronsted acid. The number of cations and that of anions are determined so that the amino acid ionic liquid is neutral electrically. Amide is produced in the presence of the catalyst composition.
