PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller whose operability is improved by reducing number of times of the gripping of the remote controller again wherein only one hand is used for gripping the remote controller. SOLUTION: For the remote controller 1, a vertically long body casing 10 includes an operation substrate 20, a battery 21 and a communication part in the inside, and a plurality of operation buttons are arrayed on the entire widest face of the body casing 10 for an operation arrangement face 11. On both side faces of the body casing 10 to be both sides of the operation arrangement face 11, a pair of moving members 40 overhung on both sides is arranged. The operation buttons to be highly frequently used are arranged respectively on the moving members 40, and they are movable along the longitudinal direction of the operation arrangement face through slide rails 45 formed on both side faces of the body casing 10.
