PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a conventional static eliminator discharges an electrified charge to an ground in most cases and in general it requires the ground, and in addition, it eliminates static electricity charged only on oneself and it cannot eliminate charged object separating from a human body; and to provide a static eliminator which does not require the ground and can eliminate the static electricity charged on oneself and also can eliminate the charge on other charged object at the same time. SOLUTION: The static electricity eliminating method is characterized in that a static electricity-eliminating body such as a discharge tube is inserted in a hollow part of a pipe of which material is fluorine resin such as teflon (R) or in a hollow part of a tube of which material is silicone rubber, both end parts are sealed by a metal fitting or the like so as to form such a state that air shielded from outside air is maintained in the hollow part of the pipe or the tube, and the pipe, tube, the metal fitting or the like eliminates the static electricity charged on the contacting charged object.
