PURPOSE: A torch head for arc welding using protective gas is provided to protect arc more completely by preventing the spreading of protective gas, thereby reducing welding failure. CONSTITUTION: A torch head for arc welding using protective gas comprises a diffuser(110), a weld tip(120), an insulator(130), and a nozzle(140). The diffuser is formed with diffusion holes on the exterior thereof for discharging protective gas. The weld tip is thread-coupled to the leading end of the diffuser and has a plurality of spray holes for spraying protective gas straight. The insulator is inserted and thread-coupled to the exterior of the diffuser and has a plurality of spiral cut holes that are open to the front to guide the protective gas to be discharged spirally. The nozzle is inserted to the exterior of the weld tip and thread-coupled to the exterior of the insulator to concentrate the protective gas to the front.
