PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice storage detecting device having good hygiene while improving mounting workability. SOLUTION: In this ice storage detecting device composed of a detected section disposed on a spherical functional member, and a detecting section disposed at the external of the functional member, the spherical functional member has an arm section including an hooking hole, the hooking hole of the arm section is inserted to a hook section of a mounting bracket fixed to a ceiling and the like of an ice storage, so that the spherical functional member can be rotatably engaged, and displacement of a spherical section is detected by the detected section incorporated in the arm member, and the detecting section disposed on the bracket. A magnet as the detected section is incorporated in an upper section of the arm member, and the bracket is provided with a proximity switch as the detecting section.
