PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting coil device and a method of manufacturing the superconducting coil that can reduce coil parameters including the inductance nonuniformity of superconducting wires when a coil core is wound with a plurality of superconducting wires to facilitate current equalizing operation. SOLUTION: The superconducting coil device in which the coil core is wound with the plurality of superconducting wires and electrodes are provided at both ends of the respective superconducting wires includes a superconducting wire parallel structure in which a spool 10 is wound with the plurality of superconducting wires 311 (312) and 321 (322) spirally and at intervals along the axis of the spool 10, and an electrode peripheral surface arrangement structure in which the electrodes are provided by the superconducting wires, and the electrodes 21 to 28 are arranged on a peripheral surface of the spool 10.
