PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement of a cutting position of a card. SOLUTION: This card making system includes a card printing system to which card information D to be indicated on the card 5 is inputted and which forms print information E on the basis of the card information and performs printing by a printer, and the card cutter 6 which includes, in its constitution, a cutter mechanism 60 which cuts printed paper 4, while conveying it. Herein a cut mark 18 showing the edge portion of an upper card region R1 to be located at the tip in the direction of conveyance in the card cutter is included in the printing information, and the mark is printed on the paper together with the card information. The card cutter is equipped with a sensor for detecting the cut mark printed on the paper, and cutting work by the cutter mechanism 60 is started on the occasion when the sensor detects tip position information.
