PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power distribution device efficiently extracting power from a solar cell even when distributing DC power from the solar cell. SOLUTION: A potential on the output side of a first converter 55 is regulated (fixed) by a battery 20. Since the potential is regulated, solar cell power Ppv input from the solar cell 3 is determined through the control of an output current Iout of the first converter 55. In the first converter 55, the input power Ppv and the output power Pout are almost equal. Thereby, the first converter 55 can determine the solar cell power Ppv (input power) through output side current control. By changing the solar cell power Ppv, a solar cell voltage Vpv also can be determined. Consequently, the first converter 55 can obtain power from the solar cell 3 at high efficiency by setting the solar cell voltage Vpv to a maximum output voltage through the output side current control.
