RADIO RELAY SYSTEM, REPEATER, AND RELAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay station capable of improving a gain at a space propagation path while reducing the volume and the cost of processing corresponding to signals of a plurality of layers in MIMO/MU-MIMO systems. SOLUTION: The relay station applies nonlinear processing to signals of a plurality of layers transmitted by a base station based on the state of a first propagation path between the base station and the relay station and the state of a second propagation path between the relay station and a terminal. Then, the relay station applies MU-MIMO transmission processing to transmission from the relay station to the plurality of terminals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
