PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an ink cartridge of an inkjet printer while making it possible to accurately read and write on an ink information holding component inside an ink container whose capacity is increased. SOLUTION: The ink container of the ink cartridge and the ink information holding component are formed to be separate and independent and are separately mounted on the inkjet printer to facilitate handling a large amount of ink.
