PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique, preventing trouble such as instantaneous disconnection due to separation between a pair of MT connectors and easily achieving improvement in workability at low cost in moving a connector coupling body for exchanging a broken clip and exchanging the clip concerning a connector coupling body formed by collectively holding a pair of MT optical connectors using the clip. SOLUTION: According to this MT clip exchanging method, after the pair of MT optical connectors of the connector coupling body 4 are held using a connector holding tool 10 including clamping piece parts 12 at both ends of a substantially arch-shaped elastic plate part 11 elastically deformed by fingers without opening a closure 9 to take out the connector coupling body 4 in the interior from the closure 9, the connector coupling body 4 is taken out from the closure 9 to exchange the clip.
