PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog output unit that can output analog current smaller than on 0% command, without misdetection of disconnections. SOLUTION: The analog output unit includes a threshold-setting section that sets a disconnection threshold for disconnection detection processing to determine whether a signal line for supplying an analog current signal to an external device is disconnected; an analog current signal measuring section for measuring the analog current signal output to the external device and a disconnection detection section that performs disconnection detection processing; on the basis of the comparison of the disconnection threshold set by the threshold;setting section, with the measured value of the analog current signal being measured by the analog current signal measuring section.
