PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coating area of a boom outer circumferential surface from being damaged by eliminating a direct contact between a boom side surface and right and left upward guards on a boom rest receiving table, in a boom support structure for supporting a boom by a boom rest while the boom is stored. SOLUTION: In the boom support structure of a boom type working vehicle for supporting a boom lower surface on the upper surface of a boom rest 2 provided with right and left upward guards 24, 24 on its upper portion when the boom is stored, connecting members 3 made of a rust-free material which does not require coating are mounted at positions corresponding to the right and left upward guards 24, 24 of the boom rest 2 in the boom 13 when the boom is stored so that at least part of the connecting members 3 is protruded outward from right and left side surfaces of the boom. Thus, even when the boom swings right and left while the boom is stored, only the connecting members 3 are in contact with the inner surfaces of the upward guards 24 and the side surfaces of the boom do not contact the upward guards.
