PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head that is easy to manufacture and can provide a good ink discharge characteristic, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head H includes: a body section 10 having an ink chamber forming section 11 formed with space 12 for storing ink, a flow passage forming section 13 formed with a plurality of flow passages 5 in communication with the space 12, and an orifice plate 15 for discharging ink supplied via the flow passages 5; and pressurizing units 21, 22 for pressurizing ink in the flow passages 5, wherein a throttle section 6 where part of the flow passages 5 is shut by a wall section 11a forming the space 12 in the ink chamber forming section 11 is formed on a boundary face between the ink chamber forming section 11 and the flow passage forming section 13.
