METHOD FOR EXTRACTING CITRIC ACID AND/OR SODIUM CITRATE FROM FERMENTED SOLUTION

Provided is a method for extracting citric acid and/or sodium citrate from fermented solution. In this method, mixed solution of tertiary amine and higher alcohol is used as complexing extractant to extract the fermented solution of citric acid by multi-stage cross-flow, and pure water and/or NaOH solution is used to strip the extraction phase. The mixed extractant of tertiary amine and higher alcohol is used to extract pressure filtration clear solution of citric acid and thus the expected extraction distribution coefficient can be achieved. The yield of the multi-stage cross-flow extraction is over 98%. The extraction phase is stripped by pure water and/or NaOH solution to obtain an aqueous solution of citric acid and/or sodium citrate, which can be used for concentration and crystallization.
