A rotor (10) has a core (11), which is composed of laminated steel plates (21) and has the end surface for attaching a rotation transmitting member (the wall surface of a through hole (26) for a shaft) formed entirely in the laminating direction, and a rotation transmitting member (shaft (12)) attached to the core (11) end surface for attaching the rotation transmitting member. In the core (11) of the rotor (10), the end surface for welding (the wall surface of a through hole (25) for welding) is formed entirely in the laminating direction at a position adjacent to the end surface for attaching the rotation transmitting member and a welding trace (29) extending to the rotation transmitting member is formed entirely in the laminating direction of the core (11) on the end surface for welding. With this invention, the dimensions and the weight of rotating electrical machines can be easily reduced and the rotor can be manufactured with a small number of steps. |
