<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of making harmless hazardous components in liquid fuel exhausted from an anode while suppressing increase in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 includes: a fuel cell 2 having an anode 8 and a cathode 9 and exhausting liquid fuel containing hazardous ingredients produced as the byproduct of power generation from the anode 8; a fuel circulation line 11 connected to the fuel supply side 14 and a fuel exhaust side 15 of the anode 8; a fuel circulation pump 13 installed in the fuel circulation line 11; a cooling water circulation line 26 connected to the fuel cell 2; and a cooling water circulation pump 28 installed in the cooling water circulation line 26. In the fuel cell system 1, the fuel circulation line 11 and the cooling water circulation line 26 are connected through a liquid feeding line 38 having a liquid feeding opening and closing valve 39 in the midway position, and a catalyst 29 for decomposing the hazardous ingredients contained in the liquid fuel entered from the liquid feeding line 38 is arranged midway in the cooling water circulation line 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
