<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device that allows a user to insert a phrase without repeating key operation to input the same character string. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device includes: a key input unit which acquires information corresponding to a phrase to be converted from selection candidates of a character string to be input, and acquires an instruction as to whether to repeatedly convert the input character string; a display unit which displays a phrase determined to be converted from the selection candidates for converting the character string acquired by the key input unit, list-displays the selection candidates again, upon receipt of a reinput instruction to repeatedly convert the input character string, and displays a phrase redetermined to be converted from the selection candidates; and a control unit which converts a character string and causes the display unit to list-display the selection candidates of the character string according to input from the key input unit, determines a phrase to be converted from the selection candidates according to input from the key input unit, causes the display unit to list-display the selection candidates of the character string again according to the reinput instruction from the key input unit, and determines a phrase to be converted from the selection candidates displayed again on the display unit according to input from the key input unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
