PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug which can prevent or treat an allergic disease by inhibiting an allergic reaction by shifting the in vivo immune environment from Th2 type to Th1 type.

SOLUTION: There is provided an allergic disease preventing or treating agent containing attenuated Propionibacterium acnes cells as an active ingredient.
