A moving object (1) has first (4) and second (7) transmitters to send out signals at different radio frequencies. A stationary object (2) has first (16) and second (19) receivers to pick up these signals and feed them to an evaluatory device (11) that compares and correlates assignment identifications for signals from both transmitters. An independent claim is also included for an information transmission system for carrying out the method of the present invention.
