Verfahren zur Herstellung von gut anfaerbbaren Fasern oder Faeden mit hohem Schrumpfvermoegen aus Acrylnitril-Copolymerisat-Loesungen

Fibres are made by copolymerizing in anhydrous dimethyl formamide a mixture containing at least 85% by weight of acrylonitrile, 0.5-15% by weight of a metal, ammonium or alkylamine salt of vinyl, allyl or methallyl sulphonic acid and 0-14.5% by weight of another comonomer, e.g. an acrylate or vinyl acetate, and thereafter spinning the copolymer solution into an aqueous precipitating bath. The resulting fibres have high shrinkage ability and capacity for duestuffs. Examples describe copolymerizing acrylonitrile in dimethylformamide in the presence of azodiisobutyronitrile with: (2) methyl acrylate and sodium allyl sulphonate, (3) ethyl acrylate and sodium allyl sulphonate, (4) methyl acrylate and ammonium allyl sulphonate, (5) methyl acrylate and diethylammonium allyl sulphonate, and (6) ammonium allyl sulphonate.
